For a greener future.   <\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dian has a clear objective and commitment to sustainability. We have recently renewed the <a href=\"\">&#8220;Calculo, Reduzco y Compenso&#8221;<\/a> seal <a href=\"\">awarded by the Ministry for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge (MITECO)<\/a>, a recognition that reflects all the efforts put into the calculation, reduction and compensation of greenhouse gas emissions generated by our activity.   <\/p><div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div><figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"680\" src=\"https:\/\/division.infortic.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/DSC_0071-1024x680.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10140\" srcset=\"https:\/\/division.infortic.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/DSC_0071-980x651.jpg 980w, https:\/\/division.infortic.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/DSC_0071-480x319.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"auto, (min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) and (max-width: 980px) 980px, (min-width: 981px) 1024px, 100vw\" \/><\/figure><div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Why is it so important for Dian to offset the carbon footprint?<\/strong><\/h2><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since our commitment to sustainability at Dian, our objective has been clear: to minimize the CO2 emissions emitted into the atmosphere by our activities.  <\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After calculating our carbon footprint, we have been actively working to reduce emissions, reflecting on the actions necessary to minimize our environmental impact. However, we understand that, although reduction is a priority, there are unavoidable emissions that must be offset to contribute to a sustainable balance. Therefore, we complement our reduction actions with emission compensation projects that allow us to absorb CO\u2082 from the atmosphere.  <\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For these reasons, this type of action is a sustainable alternative for combating climate change, contributing to the balance of ecosystems and preserving the well-being of the planet.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Improvements proposed by Dian for Carbon Footprint offsetting:<\/strong><\/h2><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since 2020 in Dian we are calculating the carbon footprint of the organization, achieving a 30% reduction of our generated emissions. All this, thanks to the implementation of different proposals to reduce and offset the carbon footprint. <\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These are some of the <strong>basic lines of improvement implemented <\/strong>:  <\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Installation of solar panels.  <\/li><\/ul><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>100% renewable energy consumption.  <\/li><\/ul><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Acquisition of two electric vehicles.  <\/li><\/ul><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Contribution to the Tellado e Vi\u00f1a project in Galicia, in terms of reforestation, since trees not only provide oxygen, but also act as oxygen sinks, thus facilitating its natural absorption.<\/li><\/ul><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Being able to contribute a grain of sand to the well-being of our planet is within everyone&#8217;s reach.  <\/p><div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div><figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"384\" height=\"544\" src=\"https:\/\/division.infortic.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/2023_CCR.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10144\" srcset=\"https:\/\/division.infortic.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/2023_CCR.jpg 384w, https:\/\/division.infortic.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/2023_CCR-212x300.jpg 212w, https:\/\/division.infortic.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/2023_CCR-64x91.jpg 64w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 384px) 100vw, 384px\" \/><\/figure>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At Dian we have renewed the &#8220;Calculo, Reduzco y Compenso&#8221; seal awarded by the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge.
